hey there!
I'm Jess!
Some of my earliest memories were made watching my Italian great-grandmother, Nani, cook Sunday dinner in her basement kitchen in upstate New York. The smell of sauce in the air, cousins running around, and a garage-turned-dining-room with a table for twenty - those moments taught me that food connects us in ways nothing else can.
Whisk and Wine is my love letter to that legacy - and my way of carrying it forward. As a working mom, I know how hard it can be to put real food on the table when life feels too full. But I also know the joy that comes when we do. This space is about simple, flavorful meals that fit into real life - recipes that nourish, connect, and remind us where we came from.

- My girls, Jayla and Amaya, are Irish twins (364 days apart!) and my favorite sous chefs.

My Story
From Nani to Nene - and Now to Us
My mom, Andrea - or Nene, as my girls call her - is the heart of our kitchen. She's the one who taught me that food isn't just about feeding people; it's about loving them well. Every meal she made growing up was homemade, intentional, and full of warmth - the kind of food that makes a house feel like home.
Now, together, we're raising the next generation of cooks. My daughters, Jayla and Amaya, love being right beside us - measuring, stirring, and learning the same lessons I did. It's a full-circle moment I'll never take for granted: three generations of women, cooking side by side, carrying the torch of connection through food.
